Account-wide achievements are achievements introduced with the Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Inlinegfx/img_link_data.json' not found. Mists of pandaria expansion that can include criteria fulfilled by multiple characters on the same Battle.net account and in the same region.
- Available at the Battle.net account level,[1] as such, would apply to all of the attached World of Warcraft licenses on the account.[2]
- Intended to be an overall change to the current achievement system.[2]
- Will be available to players without Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Inlinegfx/img_link_data.json' not found. Mists of Pandaria.[2]
- Most achievements will be account-wide.[4]
- Most criteria will not be account-wide.[4]
- Some achievements stay "meta achievements."[4]
- A very few achievements will be account-only.[4]
- Account-only achievements will be those that can't be earned with a single character.
- Plan for rewards granted from achievements (pets, mounts, titles, and tabards) will be shared at the account level.[4]
- Not clear yet how achievements based on reputation will be handled.[5]

Account-wide achievements were originally achievements set to come out after Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Inlinegfx/img_link_data.json' not found. Wrath of the Lich King, however they were delayed until the Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Inlinegfx/img_link_data.json' not found. Mists of Pandaria expansion.
Q. Will there be account-wide Achievements? If so, can we expect to see things like vanity gifts for having multiple characters?
A. It’s an idea we definitely want to do, but it’s pretty challenging technically, so it’s not on the immediate horizon. We can’t promise anything obviously, but I wouldn’t feel the need to get difficult Achievements on more than one character on the same account.

Account achievements are in the works. They won't be in for the launch of Lich King but they are on the horizon.
