On Affliction
Warlocks are the eternal masters of shadow magic, a practice perfected over many generations. While they excel in the manipulalation of demons, their true power lie in their own hands.
The Warlock talent tree that includes curses and DoT spells, as well as various other debuffs. The Affliction tree relies on slow, steady death while being mana efficient. With abilities such as Dark Pact, a warlock with talents deep in this tree is fit to survive a long, drawn out battle based on mana. Also, the Affliction tree contains the only snare ability that warlocks are capable of getting, Curse of Exhaustion.
Most warlocks prefer the Shadow Mastery/Ruin talent build, which requires a somewhat deep investment in points here.
