The Avatar of Soggoth was what came into existence when the Twilight's Hammer Cult attempted to resurrect Soggoth the Slitherer. Soggoth had been killed by stone giants centuries earlier at the Titan's command. Nineteen were destroyed, but the last and largest named Kronn managed to thrust his titanic sword into Soggoth's head, killing him. In the end The Avatar was destroyed by giants, this time 'giants of ancient timber', the Ancients.
