is a remote subzone located by the northwestern edge of the mountains of Azshara. It now includes what was known as Azshara Tower, which houses many apprentices of Archmage Xylem.

Notes

• The area was presumably named after the villages of Timbermaw furbolgs that dotted the landscape, which functioned as outposts for the more northerly Timbermaw Hold and Ursolan. Since the Cataclysm, however, much of the areas that the furbolg inhabited have been incorporated into Blackmaw Hold and the Thistlefur no longer have a place within Azshara.
