BlizzCon 2014 was announced on April 22, 2014 and will be taking place at Anaheim Convention Center November 7-8, 2014. Tickets went on sale in two batches, one on Wednesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. PT and the other on Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m. PT via the blizzcon2014.eventbrite.com website (a change from 2013) for $199 USD each. A limited number of tickets to an exclusive pre-BlizzCon Benefit Dinner went on sale Wednesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. PT for $750 USD each, with proceeds going to benefit Children's Hospital of Orange County. Tickets for the live and recorded internet stream (Virtual Ticket) were offered for $39.99 at the Battle.net Shop.
Preliminary info on contests was announced on April 25, 2014.
Ticket sales
Reception for Blizzard's switch to Eventbrite was not good after the initial May 7th wave of ticket sales.[1][2]
