This is the 5-man, level 85, heroic mode dungeon boss. See Bloodlord Mandokir (original) for the old Zul'Gurub raid version.

Bloodlord Mandokir begins this encounter mounted on his trusty raptor Ohgan. There are 8 spirits around the arena where you engage the Bloodlord. Periodically throughout the fight he will Decapitate someone, this is an instant kill shot and is unavoidable. When one of your party members dies one of the 8 spirits will come to your body and resurrect you. The trick is not to die due to mechanics or user error to minimize wasting your available resurrections.

Also, three or so times during the fight Ohgan the raptor will be summoned and will make a beeline for the resurrection spirits, dps be sure to slow, stun, and kill ohgan as quick as possible so he doesn't kill one of your available ressers.

Bloodlord also casts Bloodletting on a single party member, it is a dot and is fairly strong so healers be aware and give the affected player a few extra heals. His other attack is a frontal ground attack that makes the ground red and glowing, dont stand in it and waste spirit resses on that attack.

The boss gains a buff every time he kills a party member, gaining 20 percent damage but i have never had a wipe due to the boss hitting the tank too hard so i wouldn't consider this an incredibly important mechanic.

    • NOTE- Be aware that if the Boss charges the heals or tank you will need to compensate while you wait for them to be ressurected. ENJOY:D
