The Bluegill tribe is a tribe of murlocs found in and around the Bluegill Marsh, in Wetlands,[1]. Due to events in the Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Inlinegfx/img_link_data.json' not found.cataclysm, they are now also found around the shores of the lake Loch in Loch Modan. They are a menace to local fishers and merchants of Menethil Harbor and seem to be led by Gobbler.[2]

They raided the merchant ship Blind Princess[3] and stole some cargo[4][5] including the Menethil Statuette.[6]

In Cataclysm[]

In the cataclysm and it's devestating effects it had on both the Wetlands and Loch Modan, the Bluegill Murlocs appear to have migrated and expanded into the neighboring zone of Loch Modan, establishing camps along the cliffy shores of the semi-drained lake Loch. They were appearently co-working with the Mosshide Gnolls (both from Wetland) in Loch Modan until adventurers from the Alliance intervened and destroyed their pact during a meeting with representives from the Gnolls and Kobolds.[7]

Members[]

  • Gobbler lvl 22 (Bluegill Marsh, Wetlands)
  • Whitefin lvl 14 (Loch, Loch Modan)Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Inlinegfx/img_link_data.json' not found.

Notes[]

  • The Wetland murlocs are relatively easy to grind at level 23+. It's recommended especially for Alliance players, since Menethil Harbor is right next to their marsh and can be used to sell looted items. Bluegill Murlocs drop an average of 1 silver, and others drop from 1.5 silver to almost 4 silver worth each. They also provide decent experience.
  • Murlocs are usually organized into tribes, hence the name.
