In Tales of the past III, this sword used to be Alexandros Mograine's before gaining the Ashbringer. Boneslasher was later given to Blazer to further progress in his training to become the next Ashbringer, when Blazer struck down Mograine and took up the Ashbringer, it is assumed that Boneslasher was left in the Emerald Dream when Blazer left to confront the Lich king.
