Championing is a system for customized reputation gains from dungeons in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, announced at the 2008 Worldwide Invitational.[1] It allows a player to acquire reputation in a dungeon with a faction other than that normally associated with the dungeon. Killing a monster that yields reputation inside a level 80 (or max level for the expansion) dungeon on normal mode or in any heroic mode dungeons while wearing a particular faction's tabard will grant reputation with that faction.
