The Circle of Holy Light was part of the resistance against the Scourge, eventually seeking to escape from Lordaeron to Khaz Modan. When Arthas decided to destroy the rest of humanity in Lordaeron, he led his forces against the remaining Knights of the Silver Hand defending the city. The Circle of Holy Light, along with the Defenders of Justice and the Crippling Force, were stationed in the Ruined Palace Gardens of Lordaeron. Their combined efforts were unfortunately not enough to halt Arthas' attack, enabling the Scourge to murder the survivors and destroyed the resistance. They where led by Halahk the Lifebringer.
