Crafty's Pole is a fishing pole that grants a +1000 bonus to a player's fishing ability. First discovered in the World of Warcraft Official Armory, this appears to be the first, and only legendary fishing pole. Seeing as 700 is currently the maximum skill a player could have in this profession, most of the bonus granted by this item is redundant.
Crafty's Pole is believed to be a GM tool for testing new fishing system that was introduced in Patch 3.1 to compare fishing success with a minimum and maximum skill level.
Shortly after this pole was publicly known it was removed from the Official Armory.
