from main road) is located in the northeastern corner of the Cape of Stranglethorn (Stranglethorn Vale), and the native basilisks eat the strange crystals which can be found within this mine. This gives the reptiles their hardened skin. The Venture Co. have moved into the area hoping to harvest the mine, but the basilisk infestation has made this impossible thus far.

Outside crystallized trolls and humans can be found, who were probably basilisk victims.
