Dandred's Fold

Dandred's Fold is a small area that was formerly part of the Alterac Mountains; now it is included in Hillsbrad Foothills on the shores of Lordamere Lake

. This is where the mansion of Lord Aliden Perenolde, the former leader of the Syndicate, was located. Despite its charming appearance, numerous Syndicate rogues and mercenaries sneaked through the area, quick to put a dagger in the back of anyone who appeared to not share their affiliation.

In Cataclysm

This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm.

The farm appears to have been abandoned. The fate of the Syndicate forces, including Lord Aliden Perenolde, is unknown. It is possible they were killed by Horde adventurers as part of an old quest; they also may have fled the area.

Now the area surrounding the farm and some parts of its orchard (but not near the house/pier) is currently inhabited by large green spiders and ferocious bears, while many neutral snapjaw turtles wander at random on the nearby beach of Lordamere Lake.

Note/Trivia

• Since the Cataclysm the two-level house and adjacent area are all mob-free, making it a possible prime RP area.
