Dark wizards are the ultimate neutral counterparts of the Archmage in Warcraft 3. They have the Brilliance Aura and can cast Raise Skeleton and Polymorph.
Many were cast out by the Kirin Tor and hold a bitter dislike for other wizards. These talent mages liked to form groups of like-minded individuals, and lordded over others with their superiority in magic and strength.
