Darnassus is the faction associated with Darnassus, the capital city of the Night Elves. The high priestess, Tyrande Whisperwind, resides in the Temple of the Moon, surrounded by other sisters of Elune. In the Cenarion Enclave, the Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm leads the Cenarion Circle, often in direct opposition to his fellow druids in Moonglade and Tyrande herself.

Reputation

Raedon Duskstriker has the Darnassus repeatable Runecloth quest used by non-night elven Alliance players to obtain the right to ride a saber cat. Additionally, Mathrengyl Bearwalker has the repeatable Morrowgrain to Darnassus quest which requires players to gather Un'Goro Soil from Un'Goro Crater. Note that Un'Goro Soil, like Runecloth, is not soulbound and may be purchased from the Auction House.

Players who are at or close to level 44 looking to gain the favor of Darnassus should find and complete the quests of Feralas. The quests therein are associated with Darnassus and could prove to substantially increase your reputation should they all be completed.

Now that reputation gain is independent of level, it is highly recommended that players of any level looking to gain the favor of Darnassus travel to Teldrassil, Darkshore, and Ashenvale. These zones contain many quests which each give 150-350 reputation with Darnassus.
