Decimation is a passive warlock ability learned at level 10 for those with the Demonology specialization. With it, using [Soul Fire] or [Shadow Bolt] on an enemy that is below 25% health will proc Molten Core, reducing the cast time of the next Soul Fire.

Patch changes

• Patch 3.3.0 (08-Dec-2009): Redesigned. When Shadowbolt, Incinerate or Soul Fire hit a target that is at or below 35% health, the cast time of Soul Fire is reduced by 20/40% for 8 seconds. Soul Fires cast under the effect of Decimation cost no shards.
