The Den of Sorrow
The Den of Sorrow is a large cave located due east of Pearlfin Village in the Jade Forest. Players must recover a poem within that gives clues as to the location of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Long ago the pandaren known as Ling Heartfist brought the sacred waters into the cave as a gift for the nearby jinyu of Pearlfin Village. Darkness welled from underground and corrupted those guarding the waters, including Ling, continuing to do so even after death. Though Ling refuses to speak their name, it is apparent he is referring to the sha.
