Drelanim appears to be defending Vault of Wardens on as the hero proceeds. She is wary of the freed demon hunters, but seems to trust Maiev's judgement in freeing them. ^{[citation needed]}

Later, in the dungeon Vault of the Wardens, players rescue her from a traitor demon hunter who tries to break her will.^{[citation needed]}

Drelanim Whisperwind is a warden that appears in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Night elf surnames are indicative of the family line and often date back millennia. ^{(WoWRPG 39)} This would indicate that she is from the same family line as Tyrande, although how closely related to Tyrande is unknown. She can randomly appear as one of the several Warden names for the non-campaign maps.

In Warlords of Draenor

This section concerns content exclusive to Warlords of Draenor.

For Horde adventurers in Frostfire Ridge, Drelanim Whisperwind accompanies Cordana Felsong to Frostfire Crag when Cordana sends them there for Vouchsafe Our Arrival, but she does not come along with Cordana and Khadgar when they continue to Throm'var during Safe Passage. Neither is she present at your garrison when Cordana sends them to Frostfire Ridge in the first place, nor does she turn up during the events in and around Throm'var.

For Alliance adventurers in Shadowmoon Valley, she is seen guarding Starfall Outpost.

Later she is seen for all adventurers at Yrel's Watch in Nagrand.
