Drums are a type leatherworker-crafted charged consumable item introduced in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. When played, the drums create a short range area of effect spell around the drummer. Depending on the type of drum used, this can either affect party members or enemies.
Only leatherworkers can use Burning Crusade drums, although the skill needed to use the drum is never higher than the skill needed to make the drum, while Wrath of the Lich King drums can be used by non-leatherworkers. Druid leatherworkers can use drums while shapeshifted. Burning Crusade drums have a 2 minute shared cooldown, while Wrath of the Lich King drums have no cooldown. Drums have 50 charge each.
