The Dunemaul band[1] is a large band of nomadic ogres who have taken over a large area of Tanaris and formed a compound to the south. Several smaller bands are currently wandering the desert, some of whom have invaded the old troll ruins. The leader of this band is named Gor'marok the Ravager.
We can not find any reference how those Ogres came to Tanaris.

Speculations say that they have been brought here by the Steamwheedle Cartel as guards and escaped. Other Speculations say that they have been brought by some other cartel which wanted to minimize the profit of the Steamwheedle Cartel by placing a race there that would only live by robbing them.
