Emblem of Heroism is a currency used in Northrend to buy heirlooms and epic (tier 7) items, similar to the  [Badge of Justice], with an item level of 200.

This item is no longer available as a drop. However, you can exchange an [Emblem of Conquest] for an Emblem of Heroism. To do this, first purchase an 1 for 1 from  Arcanist Firael <Emblem of Conquest Quartermaster> or  Magister Sarien <Emblem of Conquest Quartermaster>. Now purchase an 1 for 1 from  Arcanist Adurin <Emblem of Valor Quartermaster> or  Magister Brasael <Emblem of Valor Quartermaster>. You can also exchange emblems of Valor, Conquest and Triumph with Usuri Brightcoin in the Underbelly.

You can purchase more than one at a time by holding shift and right-clicking on your desired item. You are given a window to enter the number total.

Emblem of Triumph

 [Emblem of Triumph] come from:

• All level 80 Heroic mode dungeon bosses
• All bosses in 10/25-player raids before Icecrown Citadel, and all bosses except Toravon the Ice Watcher Vault of Archavon
• 2x as a reward for completing a random heroic dungeon after the first one for the day
• 5x for completing the weekly raid quest

Emblem of Frost

 [Emblem of Frost] come from:

• 2x for completing the first random level 80 heroic dungeon using the Dungeon Finder each day
• 5x for completing the weekly raid quest
• 2x from Toravon the Ice Watcher in Vault of Archavon
• 2x per boss in Icecrown Citadel

Patch changes

• / Patch 4.0.1 (12-Oct-2010): Removed.
              Emblems of Heroism will be immediately converted to gold at a ratio of 5 50 per emblem. Items which were purchased using Emblems of Heroism now require Justice Points instead.
  
• Patch 3.2.0 (04-Aug-2009):
  • Any dungeons that previously dropped Emblems of Heroism or [Valor], such as Naxxramas or Heroic Halls of Stone, will now drop [Emblems of Conquest] instead. Emblems of Conquest can still be converted to Valor or Heroism.
  • The Heroic dungeon daily quest will now reward 2 Emblems of Triumph and the normal daily dungeon quest will reward 1 Emblem of Conquest.
