Fenran Thaurissan is the son of Emperor Dagran Thaurissan of the Dark Iron clan and Moira Thaurissan (born Bronzebeard) of Ironforge. As half-Bronzebeard and half-dark iron, Fenran is the heir to the thrones of both the Kingdom of Ironforge and the Dark Iron clan.
Until he is of age, the rule of Ironforge is decided by the Council of Three Hammers, composed of Moira, Muradin Bronzebeard and Falstad Wildhammer.
