Archmage Modera is a female archmage of Kirin Tor. She is one of the members of The Six, the elite body that governs all operations within Dalaran. She and Drenden worked together closely. Modera appears to be one of the most long-standing members of the Six, having apparently been active as a member since well before the Second War up until now. She is one of two surviving members of the Second War-era high council to appear in World of Warcraft (the other being Krasus).
She has survived to this day, and in Wrath of the Lich King she appears in Dalaran together with Rhonin, Vereesa Windrunner, and Archmage Aethas Sunreaver. They are all located in the Violet Citadel.

Modera can be found at Socrethar's Rise in Shadowmoon Valley, she is accompanied by a small Kirin Tor squadron.

Modera aids the adventurer in obtaining Felo'melorn. She attends a secret meeting with Aethas at Dalaran Crater. Aethas gives Modera the information about Felo'melorn. He is willing to help the Kirin Tor in obtaining the blade if they are ready to re-accept his race back to Dalaran.

- An image of Modera appears at Stars' Rest in Dragonblight in Wrath of the Lich King.
- Appeared in Day of the Dragon, Road to Damnation and Tides of Darkness. Modera was given a WoW model for Damnation's complementary images, that of a golden-haired woman wearing Arcanist Regalia.
