A focus bar begins at full with one hundred points and begins to deplete as focus-consuming moves are performed. Some hunter abilities restore focus, such as [Steady Shot] and [Aspect of the Fox]. A hunter's focus regenerates at a rate of six focus per second and a pet's focus regenerates at a rate of five focus per second. This rate is not affected by being in or out of combat or by other features, such as gear or player level. Focus is increased by 10/20/30% for each talent point spent on the [Bestial Discipline] talent.
History[]
Hunters played with focus during the early stages of the development of World of Warcraft.[citation needed] At that point, Focus only regenerated when standing still.[citation needed] This distinguishing feature of hunters was dropped before launch, and the developers had hunters use Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Statlink/link_icon_data.json' not found. instead.
