Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Buildinglink/link_icon_data.json' not found. The Forge is a garrison building which can be placed on a small plot. It offers blacksmiths the ability to learn new recipes or place work orders for crafting materials. The forge can also be used by players without the Blacksmithing [Blacksmithing] profession to purchase crafted items from an NPC within the building.

Level 1
Allows the production of Blacksmithing items and work orders.
Level 2
Allows followers with the Blacksmithing trait to work here, granting a unique bonus. Also allows up to 14 work orders at one time.
Level 3
Unlocks Blacksmithing missions, and allows up to 21 work orders at one time.

Level 1 Forge[]

[The Forge, Level 1] can be obtained by completing a short chain of quests in your faction's starting zone on Draenor.

[The Forge, Level 3] can be bought from the Blueprint Vendor in your Garrison after reaching level 100 and earning the achievement Money achievement Working More Orders on one of your characters.

  • Assigning a follower with the [Blacksmithing] ability to a level 2 or 3 Forge grants access to two buffs:
    • [Song of the Anvil]: Your armor and weapons do not lose durability from use for 4 hrs.
    • [Solace of the Forge]: While outdoors in Draenor, the Guardians of the Forge watch over you and may come to your aid.
