Forums: Index World of Warcraft A former WoWer flips out about WoW enough to post on FMyLife. Was it just a subscription key?

After reading through FMyLife, I saw the WoW-related FML in the link, so I thought I'd type the below status update onto Facebook.

Hey buddy, listen. I admire you for quitting World of Warcraft. The 12-month subscription they gave you was a KEY CODE that you have to type in on their site in order to activate it. Just give it to a friend as a belated Christmas present. Comprende?

The above was just based on a hypothesis. As I've never subscribed to WoW myself, would a subscription gift just involve a keycode that the recipient needs to type in for himself? --ENG (talk) 04:50, January 7, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, you can gift playing time from the Blizzard Store. --PcjGamepedia wiki manager (TDrop me a line!
