Forums: Index World of Warcraft Downloading WoW

Hi

I'm looking to sign up to WoW, but want to know if, by signing up to play the free trial, Blizzard automatically installs the game for me, or I can download it and then install it locally? If I can't download it and install it locally from Blizzard, is there another way, ideally, free, that I can do so?

Thanks

They'll bring you to prompts I'm sure. They won't physically download and install it for you, that's your job. They don't offer actual CDs to install the demo, but you could always find a friend that has the CDs and use those, other than that, downloading is the best option... and necessary for all the patch downloads if the future, if you continue to play. You can sign up for the free trial and download the game, you have to pay for a full version after the trial is up. --PcjGamepedia wiki manager (TDrop me a line!

So I can download it locally? Awesome, thanks! --Huojin1 (talk) 21:45, March 22, 2010 (UTC)
