Frostmane Hold
[36, 65]was once the base camp of the Frostmane ice trolls located in the western edge of the cold mountains of New Tinkertown, south of Gnomeregan. The hold is comprised of a few buildings and a cave system. The disruption of the cataclysm has allowed rockjaw troggs to drive out the ice trolls.[1]
Prior to the Cataclysm, young dwarves and gnomes were tasked with exploring the caves and reporting back to Kharanos in order to determine just how big a threat the trolls were. The area was heavily guarded by troll headhunters and hideskinners. Now the gnomes generally control the area and apparently are too concerned with the fate of Gnomeregan to worry about the troggs.
