Gaskal was an orc that was sent by Thrall, along with the veteran warrior Broxigar, shortly after the Third War to investigate an anomaly that Kalthar had located using his shaman abilities. He and Brox soon located the anomaly, but were caught by it. He was torn apart by the mystical energy of it, while Broxigar lived and was transported into the past. ^{(WoE 82)}
