A grouper in Vashj'ir
A grouper is a medium-sized fish mob found in several areas of Azeroth's oceans. They have a stout body and a large mouth.

Dangerfish and Fiendishfish are found in Darkshore. They are possibly the same species as the edible Darkshore Grouper.- Cattail Grouper and Enormous Cattail Grouper can be found in Cattail Lake in the Valley of the Four Winds.
- Golden Stonefish are found in Thunder Ridge, after it was flooded during the Cataclysm
- Landlocked Grouper are found in the Infectis Scar, in the Eastern Plaguelands.
- Glittergill Grouper are found in Kelp'thar Forest in Vashj'ir.
- Luxscale Grouper can be found in Underlight Canyon in the Abyssal Depths zone of Vashj'ir.
- Snapjaw Grouper can be found within the coral and kelp on the shelves outside of Legion's Rest] in the Shimmering Expanse zone of Vashj'ir.

- Nibblefin Grouper can be found in the northern section of the Gilded Fan in the Valley of the Four Winds.
- Shallow Grouper are found in the south-west of Krasarang Wilds.
- Dreadmaw Grouper are found in the south-east of the Dread Wastes.
