Guilds

This article is a guild information page for A Few Good Fellas of Frostmane Europe.

The contents herein are entirely player made and in no way represent official World of Warcraft history or occurrences which are accurate for all realms. The characters and events listed are of an independent nature and applied for roleplaying, fictional, speculative, or opinions from a limited playerbase only. Guild pages must comply with the guild page policy.

A Few Good Fellas is a PvE oriented guild on the Frostmane server in Europe. Our primary goal is to clear PvE raid content, though we have quite a few active PvP'ers as well. We're an international guild, most of our members are Scandinavian, but we have quite a few members from various other corners of the planet as well. Forums: http://goodfellas.kicks-ass.net/forums/

History[]

A brief(well, reasonably) history of our great guild.

Humble beginnings[]

In the beginning, two small guilds formed, one called The Crimson Society, and the other one was Happy Fellas. The officer crews in these guilds formed a bit of a friendship, and eventually thought it might be a good idea to collaborate or merge to be able to muster the manpower to conquer 40-player raid content. After much consideration, the fusion was a fact, and a new guild was born, Crimson Fellas UTD.

Crimson Fellas UTD, rise and fall[]

The merger was fairly painless, and after a while raiding commenced. MC was conquered fairly fast, BWL came next, and things looked rosy. With the release of AQ40 however, attrition started to rear it's ugly face, cancelled raids, members dropping off, and so on. Eventually it was decided that part of the guild would merge with another guild on Shattered Hand as an effort to give the raiders their fix. A part of CF UTD merged with Inspiration, while some others went to other guilds, and yet some others stopped playing completely, and so Crimson Fellas UTD ceased to exist. Shortly after the move from Shattered Hand to Frostmane, Inspiration merged with Novus Principum to form In Excelsis. This time around, most of the original people from Crimson Fellas parted ways, going to various other guilds, going casual, and so on.

Rise from the ashes[]

The old forums were still alive all this time however, and one day a thread was created, suggesting a new start for the people who missed the undeniably unique guild that was Crimson Fellas UTD. Said and done, enough people expressed interest, and so the guild was recreated, and before long we were back in the raiding game. This time, AQ40 was conquered up to C'Thun, however at this point Naxxramas was released and interest shifted there. Things looked rosy once again. There were some tensions within the guild though, mostly between some old timers and some new comers, and on a weekend rock cruise attended by about 15 members of the guild an idea was born under the best conditions ideas can possibly be born; in a drunken haze. The idea was pretty much to recreate the guild in the image of the original Crimson Fellas UTD, a guild for friends to have fun in, all else being secondary.

TBC and The Fellas[]

TBC came and as people leveled up their characters the idea became reality. A new guild consisting mostly of old players from the first Crimson Fellas was born, A Few Good Fellas. Around 10-15 people left Crimson Fellas UTD to join the new guild, with some stragglers joining as things moved along. This caused quite a bit of tension between some members of the two guilds for a variety of reasons, but both guilds managed to prosper, moving to Karazahn and the early 25-player instances that TBC had to offer. However, a group of people in Crimson Fellas, perhaps best known as "The Kalix Crew", decided to stop playing, which in turn led to a lack of manpower for Crimson Fellas UTD, eventually resulting in the disbanding of the guild. At this time yet another guild was founded by some of the people from Crimson Fellas, Repentance, this was relatively short lived, however the author of this page doesn't have all the information about exactly what happened here.

Full circle[]

And so, most if not all of the true old time core of Crimson Fellas joined up with their comrades in A Few Good Fellas. With this final reunion A Few Good Fellas was finally truly back in business, eventually felling everything the game has to offer for now. And this concludes the not so brief history of Crimson Fellas UTD/A Few Good Fellas(A rose by any other name will smell as sweet after all).

For now...

Guild rules[]

  • Common sense, this is the most important rule, if you're unsure about this, you're probably better off elsewhere.
  • We use a relatively capitalistic DKP system.
  • We don't have too many rules aside from this, more details are available on our forum if you really want them.

Officers[]

Our brave officer squad.

Tauren MaleWarrior} Brunkor, Guild Master - Our resident geek, GM, forum and DKP-site admin, yet another tank, and the original author of this page.

Troll FemaleHunter} Deira, Guild Officer - Our strong ex-GM, quit for about a week, then felt the abstinence and came back on his huntard. Previously known as Baduun.

Tauren MaleShaman} Madox, Guild Officer - Strong enhancement shaman. Has been mostly offline for several months.

Tauren MaleShaman} Mallost, Healing role leader - One of our two healing role leaders, an Italian Stallion, even though he's a cow.

Troll MaleRogue} Azhag, Melee DPS role leader - Handles melee DPS and hunters, the quiet type, and seems to hate posting in forums.

Tauren MaleShaman} Njald, Caster DPS role leader - Weirdo and pervert, says the most profound stuff one moment, only to do a 180 and say something completely screwed up the next.

Orc MaleWarlock} Aramitama, Caster DPS role leader - Strange Ruski, he sucks at Ventrilo, feedbacking everything everyone else says, and watching weird movies that he shares with us every time he speaks, which is all too often.

Tauren FemaleDruid} Phellan, Tank role leader - Feral druid, loves to lead raids, especially alt raids to Kara and ZA, almost as much as he loves Blizzard's itemization team.

Undead MalePriest} Avalondk, healing role leader - Danish guy, stays calm most of the time, but screams in a high pitched tone of voice when mages fail at polymorphing.

Undead MalePriest} Infinite, Council - PvP nerd, spends most of his time casting mana burn, and rarely says anything useful.

Troll MalePriest} Fellah, Council - Looks like a dangerous biker, yet doesn't drink beer, very friendly and chatty most of the time, angry at other times, holy today, shadow tomorrow, clearly schizophrenic, but we still love him.
