Guild: O o O (Executus EU)

About <O o O>[]

History[]

O o O is one of the longest serving horde guilds on Executus. Bourne from the largest casual guild on the server (Draco Elysium) in the early days of TBC, O o O quickly made its way through early TBC Raid content.

After a stall in progress due to the founding Guild leader being unavailable Around October 2007, Changer the current leader took over. Due to many people leaving O o O during a turbulent leaderless period Changer started a huge recruitment, gearing and training period for all his new recruits. This period of reforming and rebuilding the guild culminated in O o O scoring the 3rd Horde side kill of Kael'thas (server 7th) on 21/01/08.This kill started a period of attunements to MH, and the guild was soon storming through what was then a new and refreshing type of raid encounter.

O o O had little difficulties in Mount Hyjal and killed Archimonde on the 26th Feb 08 (server 4th). After a small period of inactivity/poor attendance and a resulting recruitment campaign, O o O went on to clear Black Temple on 19/05/08 Horde 4th, (server 7th). Although we love killing Illidan he actually hates the guild and has only dropped one warglaive which was after kill Yogg-saron and halfway to creating our first legendary mace, and only one MT shield.

O o O continued to push through Sunwell in the summer, although poor attendance in this period resulted in little more than trash farming. After motivating enough people to make consistent SWP raids the guild killed Kalecgos on 27/07/08 followed by Brutallus 04/08/08. After Brutallus the guild struggled to have enough people online for raids as Blizzard gave a firm release date for the next expansion.

However the 3.0 patch brought many people back to WoW to play with their new skills etc. This resulted in many more people being about to raid O o O took advantage of this, killed Felmyst and Twins in the same night of 20/10/08 and 21st killed M'uru. Now that we had cleared everything up to Kil'jaeden we kept on trying to kill him the 21st, the 22nd and after some painfull 5% and DC wipes we got him down close to the end of the raid on the 23rd. Even though the content had been seriously nerfed, learning and executing a new boss strategy in one night is still really satisfying.

Filosofy[]

O o O operates under a kind of no-humiliation ideal which sais that we should not humiliate or in any other way harass other players of any faction or guild, they deserve as much respect and honor as everybody else. Officers and Class Leaders should be treated with abit extra respect since their position in the guild was directly given from Changer, making a desition that affects your performance in raids should always be discussed with the apropriate Class Leader or Officer. As O o O is a PvE guild, PvP is left out to the players who enjoy it, we are generaly agains ganking low level players, any PvP or ganking outside instances or at their summoning stones is prohibited so our raiding isnt compromised by other guilds ganking us outside raiding instances.

Although O o O is a relativly hardcore guild we don't have any strict attendance rules, as a result we have to keep a larger guild by which we cannot ensure raid spots to anyone.
