He has no significant loot, nor is he associated with any quests.

Some rumors spread throughout various fellow roleplayers that Hamhock was a captured Ogre from Duskwood, possibly making him a Splinter Fist Ogre. If this were true he would fall under the possible command of Zzarc'Vul, leader of the clan at Vul'Gol Ogre Mound.
