The Hand of Argus is an organization of draenei paladins and vindicators that serve as the primary military and police force of the Exodar. Their presence is strongest in Bloodmyst Isle, where the greatest of the corruption on the Azuremyst Isles has taken hold.

The Hand of Argus is led by the Triumvirate of the Hand — Vindicators  Boros,  Kuros and  Aesom. They are stationed in Blood Watch on Bloodmyst Isle. However, despite remaining mostly on Bloodmyst Isle, the Hand's agents have been seen in Ashenvale and Nagrand.

Tenets of the Hand of Argus

According to the quest 'Report to Exarch Admetius', which is received from  Kessel on Bloodmyst Isle, the tenets of the Hand of Argus are as follows:

"A Hand of Argus is many things: Obedient, brave, intelligent, and above all, honorable."

In World of Warcraft

Wrath of the Lich King

This section concerns content exclusive to Wrath of the Lich King.

During the War against the Lich King, Harbinger Vurenn, a member of the Hand of Argus, was dispatched to go to Northrend and meet with Counselor Talbot and General Arlos at Valiance Keep. While Vurenn provided his assitance in coordinating attacks against the Scourge, Arlos and Talbot were reluctant to agree to this plan, but allowed Vurenn to lead a number Draenei battalions to prepare their war against the undead. That was when Vurenn began to suspect that there were spies, who were members of the Cult of the Damned. In order to prevent the Cult from knowing the Alliance's plan, Vindicator Yaala tasked a certain hero to find the cultists. The cultists were routed out and defeated.

In Cataclysm

This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm.

Following the Shattering, word was spread that a small remnant of the Burning Legion had recently been found in Ashenvale and been attacking the Forest Song, a settlement that was colonized by Draenei who had recently landed on Azeroth before the shattering ever occurred. Seeing that the colonists needed protection and aid from the Alliance, the Hand of Argus dispatched Vindicator Vedaar to go to Ashenvale and put an end to Legion's plan to attack the Draenei settlement.

In Legion

This section concerns content exclusive to Legion.

When the lead the Hand of Argus to Light's Hope Chapel to pay their respects to the fallen Tirion Fordring. Boros steps forward and pledges his order's support to the new Highlord of the Silver Hand.

Notes

• A player may become a member of the Hand of Argus only if the player is a draenei and has completed Ending Their World.
