Heritage Armor sets are cosmetic armor sets originally unique to the allied races. They were introduced with the Battle for Azerothexpansion. With Patch 8.1, heritage sets were added for dwarves and blood elves, with the announcement that further sets will be created for other existing races.[1]
For allied races, players can obtain each full set of armor by leveling their chosen race from its starting level of 20 to max level. It does not matter which class is chosen, as after the armor is unlocked, it can be transmogrified across armor types.
For older races, players will need to complete a short quest chain which details more lore of the race. In addition, they will need to have reached exalted with their race's capital city.
