The Hunter can purchase abilities, obtain new abilities by gaining them as a natural course of the game mechanics, or learn them from their class trainer. Pet abilities are learned from special talent trees.

Auto Shot Starts with 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship Automatically shoots the target until cancelled. Ranged attacks fired by a Hunter all have 15% increased attack speed.
Arcane Shot Starts with 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship An instant shot that causes X Arcane damage.
Raptor Strike Starts with 5 yards Survival A strong attack that increases melee damage by +X.
Track Beasts 1 Self Only Survival Shows the location of all nearby beasts on the mini-map. Only one form of tracking can be active at a time.
Serpent Sting 4 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship Stings the target, causing +X Nature damage over Y seconds. Only one Sting can be active on any one target per hunter.
Hunter's Mark 6 100 yards Marksmanship Places the Hunter's Mark on the target, increasing the ranged attack power of all attackers against that target by +X. In addition, the target of this ability can always be seen by the Hunter whether it stealths or turns invisible. The target also appears on the mini-map. Lasts for 2 minutes.
Concussive Shot 8 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship Dazes the target, slowing movement speed to 50% of normal for 4 seconds}}

Call Pet 10* Self Only Beast Mastery Summons your pet to your side.

Wing Clip 12 5 yards Survival Reduces the target's movement speed to 50% of normal for 10 seconds.
Distracting Shot 12 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship Distract the target, causing threat.
Eagle Eye 12 Unlimited Beast Mastery Zooms in the Hunter's vision. Only usable outdoors.
Scare Beast 14 10 yards Beast Mastery Scares a beast, causing it to run in fear for up to X seconds.
Immolation Trap 16 Self Only Survival Place a Fire trap that will burn the first enemy to approach for X Fire damage over Y seconds.
Aspect of the Cheetah 16 Self Only Beast Mastery The Hunter takes on the aspects of a cheetah increasing movement speed by 30%, and causing the Hunter to be dazed for 3 seconds if hit.
Track Undead 18 Self Only Survival Shows the location of all nearby Undead on the mini-map.
Multi-Shot 18 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship Fires several missiles, hitting 3 targets for an additional X damage.
Disengage 20 Unlimited Survival Attempts to disengage from the target, leaping backwards up to 13 yards.
Freezing Trap 20 Self Only Survival Place a trap that freezes the first enemy that approaches, preventing all action for up to X seconds.
Scorpid Sting 22 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship Stings the target, reducing its chance to hit by 3% for 20 seconds.
Beast Lore 24 40 yards Beast Mastery Gather information about the target beast.
Track Hidden 24 Self Only Survival Increases stealth detection and shows hidden mobs within detection range on the mini-map.
Track Elementals 26 Self Only Survival Shows the location of all nearby Elementals on the mini-map.
Rapid Fire 26 Self Only Marksmanship Increases ranged attack speed by 40% for 15 seconds.
Frost Trap 28 Self Only Survival Place a Frost trap that creates an ice slick around itself for 30 seconds, reducing movement speed by 50%, when the first enemy approaches it.
Feign Death 30 Self Only Survival Feign death which may trick enemies into ignoring you. Lasts up to 6 minutes.
Track Demons 32 Self Only Survival Shows the location of all nearby demons on the mini-map.
Flare 32 30 yards Marksmanship Exposes all hidden and invisible enemies within 30 yards of the targeted area for 30 seconds.
Explosive Trap 34 Self Only Survival Place a Fire trap that explodes when an enemy approaches.
Viper Sting 36 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship Stings the target, draining 4% of maximum mana over 8 seconds (up to 8% of the hunter's maximum mana), the hunter gains mana equal to 300% of the mana drained.
Aspect of the Pack 40 Self Only Beast Mastery The Hunter and his group take on the aspects of a pack of cheetahs, increasing movement speed by +X%. Pack members will be dazed for 3 seconds if hit.
Track Giants 40 Self Only Survival Shows the location of all nearby giants on the mini-map.
Volley 40 35 yards Marksmanship Continuously fires a volley of ammo at the target area, causing +X Arcane damage to enemy targets within 8 yards every second for 6 seconds.
Readiness 40 Self only Marksmanship When activated, this ability immediately finishes the cooldown on your other Hunter abilities except Bestial Wrath.
Aspect of the Wild 46 Self Only Beast Mastery The Hunter and his group take on the aspect of the wild, increasing Nature resistance by +X.
Steady Shot 50 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship A steady shot that causes damage equal to 100% of weapon damage + 10% of RAP + X. Causes an additional Y damage against Dazed targets.
Track Dragonkin 50 Self Only Survival Shows the location of all nearby dragonkin on the mini-map.
Tranquilizing Shot 60 5 - 35 yards Marksmanship Attempts to remove 1 Enrage effect and 1 Magic effect from an enemy.
Deterrence 60 Self only Survival Player increases parry and spell deflect chance by 100% for 5 seconds.
Kill Command 66 45 yards Beast Mastery Give the command to kill, increasing your pet's damage done from special attacks by 60%. Each special attack done by the pet reduces the damage bonus by 20%.
Snake Trap 68 Self Only Survival Place a trap that will release several venomous snakes to attack the first enemy to approach. The snakes will die after 15 sec.
Misdirection 70 100 yards Survival Threat caused by your next 3 attacks is redirected to the target raid member.
Kill Shot 71 5-45 yards Marksmanship You attempt to finish the wounded target off, firing a long range attack dealing 200% weapon damage plus [RAP * 0.40 + X]. Kill Shot can only be used on enemies that have 20% or less health.

Master's Call 75 25 yards Beast Mastery Your pet attempts to remove all stun and movement impairing effects on the target, and cause them to be immune to all effects for 4 sec. Cannot be used while stunned.

Call Stabled Pet 80 Self only Beast Mastery Choose one of your stabled pets to replace your current pet. The selected pet busts out of its stable to join you no matter where you are. Cannot be used in combat.
(Instant, 5 min Cooldown)
Freezing Arrow 80 40 yards Survival Fire a freezing arrow that places a Freezing Trap at the target location, freezing the first enemy that approaches, preventing all action for up to 20 sec. Any damage caused will break the ice. Trap will exist for 30 sec. Only one trap can be active at a time.

Aspect of the Monkey - Reduces the damage done to you while active by 5%.
Aspect of the Hawk - Increases the attack power bonus by 30%.
Intimidation 5 100 yards Command your pet to intimidate the target on the next successful melee attack, causing a high amount of threat and stunning the target for 3 sec.
Bestial Wrath 7 100 yards Send your pet into a rage causing 50% additional damage for 18 sec. While enraged, the beast does not feel pity or remorse or fear and it cannot be stopped unless killed.
The Beast Within 9 Self When your pet is under the effects of Bestial Wrath, you also go into a rage causing 10% additional damage and reducing mana costs of all spells by 20% for 18 sec. While enraged, you do not feel pity or remorse or fear and you cannot be stopped unless killed.
Beast Mastery 11 Self You master the art of Beast training, teaching you the ability to tame Exotic pets and increasing your total amount of Pet Skill Points by 4.

Aimed Shot 3 5 - 35 yards An aimed shot that increases ranged damage by 5 and reduces healing done to that target by 50%. Lasts 10 seconds.
Readiness 5 Self When activated, this ability immediately finishes the cooldown on your other Hunter abilities except Bestial Wrath.
Trueshot Aura 7 Self Increases attack power of all party members within 45 yards of the hunter by 10%. Lasts until cancelled.
Silencing Shot 9 5 - 35 yards Instant shot that deals 50% of ranged weapon damage and Silences the target for 3 seconds.
Chimera Shot 11 5 - 35 yards You deal 125% weapon damage, refreshing the current Sting on your target and triggering an effect:
Serpent Sting - Instantly deals 40% of the damage done by your Serpent Sting.
Viper Sting - Instantly restores mana to you equal to 60% of the total amount drained by your Viper Sting.
Scorpid Sting - Attempts to Disarm the target for 10 sec. This effect cannot occur more than once per 1 minute.

Scatter Shot 3 15 yards 50% of weapon damage plus a 4 second disorient.
Counterattack 5 5 yards Deals X damage and immobilizes target for 5 seconds. Cannot be dodged, parried, or blocked. Only usable after a successful parry.
Wyvern Sting 7 5 - 35 yards A stinging shot that puts the target to sleep for 30 sec. Any damage will cancel the effect. When the target wakes up, the Sting causes X Nature damage over 6 sec.
Black Arrow 9 5 - 35 yards Fires a Black Arrow at the target, increasing all damage done by you to the target by 6% and dealing X Shadow damage over 15 sec.
Explosive Shot 11 5 - 35 yards Hits the target setting it on fire and dealing damage every sec for 2 sec.
