Taught by the Jewelcrafting trainer in Dalaran; requires 425 skill to create. Icy Prisms contain 2-3 rare Northrend gems and also may contain a [Dragon's Eye] (about 10% chance) or an epic Gem (about 8% chance). Creating this item has a 20 hour cooldown, similarly to  [Brilliant Glass].

Patch changes

• Patch 3.3.3 (2010-03-23): Undocumented change
              The number of each gem necessary has been reduced from 3 to 1.
  
• Patch 3.2.0 (04-Aug-2009): Now has a chance of yielding an epic gem.
