Notes[]
This talent was renamed to Resurgence with the release of Cataclysm. The talent requires Water Shield to be active on you to work. If you do not have Water Shield up when you crit, you will not gain any mana. Spending points in Improved Shields in the Enhancement tree will increase the mana returned from each Water Shield orb by up to 15%. The cooldown of the water globe consumption due to healing crits has a cooldown of less than one second.
Talents that increase your spell crit chance, such as Thundering Strikes, Tidal Mastery, and Blessing of the Eternals, will increase the value of this talent. Using Tidal Waves will greatly increase your crit chance for a short period, thus granting mana back through this talent.
