A Demon summoned by the Dreadlord. It will fight alongside the Dreadlord and his allies. The Infernal though, is not a permanent creature.

Infernals are large, fiery, and summonable demons present in Warcraft III Reign of Chaos and the Frozen Throne expansion pack.

Infernals have Spell Immunity, which prevent them from being targeted by spells. They will stay for 180 seconds (3 minutes) before dying off if they have not been killed yet. The Infernal is a powerful unit with chaos damage, when summoned, an infernal rock falls from the sky and lands in the targeted area; any hostile units in that AoE will be damaged and stunned.

Infernals can attack trees. Select an Infernal and hit the attack button (right-click doesn't work) and select a tree to attack. You can use this to clear paths through trees. Infernals can only be summoned by the Dreadlord from the Undead faction (custom game). However the Dreadlord needs to be at level 6 in order to unlock it.

They are summoned using the Inferno spell, but a number of them can be summoned with Rain of Chaos spell, a few dreadlords have this spell, Archimonde has it as well.

Currently, only the Dreadlord is capable of summoning such a creature. And this isn't even the strongest variant of the Infernal. Other, more powerful Infernals are found in the Magistrates Temple. The largest being level 10 and has crimson colored flames instead of the bright green of the Dreadlord's.
