Jorum Balnir helped guide the horse Brightmane during the birth of her son Invincible, the steed given to his son's childhood friend Prince Arthas.[1]
During the winter storm that ultimately led to the death of Invincible, it was Jorum and his son who found Arthas and rescued the prince from freezing to death.[1]
After murdering his own father Arthas returned to the Balnir Farmstead to revive Invincible and discovered that Balnirs were dead: killed by the very Scourge the he was now a part of.[1]
