Khardros Wildhammer was the High Thane of the Wildhammer Clan during the War of the Three Hammers. After the war, due to Grim Batol being uninhabitable, the Wildhammers were invited to live in Ironforge. King Khardros refused, not willing to relive the shadows of the past. He instead founded a new kingdom at Aerie Peak.[1] (APG 142) After his death, his and Madoran's sons had statues built in southern Loch Modan to honor the late king of the Wildhammers and Madoran Bronzebeard.
