Korfax, also known as the "Champion of the Light" or "Crusader Commander", is a level 60 quest giver located at Light's Hope Chapel in the contested territory of the Eastern Plaguelands. He is affiliated with the Brotherhood of the Light.

Wrath of the Lich King

This section concerns content exclusive to Wrath of the Lich King.

Korfax appears in the Battle for Light's Hope Chapel. During the war against the Scourge, he makes Dreadnaught armor for warriors and needs all the Dark Iron Scraps that he can get. If warriors bring the proper materials to him, he can create the Dreadnaught's Battlegear for them. Now stationed in Northrend, his level is 77 and is located at The Argent Stand in the contested territory of Zul'Drak. He is affiliated with the Argent Crusade.

Cataclysm

This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm.

Korfax will assist players in reclaiming, the Scarlet Crusade city, Tyr's Hand. He is the quest giver for the Scarlet Barracks in Tyr's Hand. Korfax no longer exchanges Dark Iron Scraps for Argent Dawn reputation.

Notes

• Attacking Korfax is not advisable: he can crit over 12,000 with normal attack.
• Korfax appears at the Battle for Light's Hope Chapel during  [55] The Light of Dawn as a level 75 elite. In the Battle for Light's Hope Chapel, it appears that no matter the number of Scourge forces or aid from the Death knight players you receive, he is far too powerful to be taken down.
• Prior to patch 3.0.8, Korfax's gossip text was the same as his appearance in Eastern Plaguelands, including responding to players asking where to find Dark Iron scraps.
