Light's Heart is an ancient artifact uncovered during adventurers' Order hall campaign on the Broken Isles.

In Legion

This section concerns content exclusive to Legion.

During the quest  [98] Bringer of the Light, it is revealed that Light's Heart is the sentience core of the naaru prime Xe'ra. Locked within this artifact is ancient wisdom and knowledge which could be essential to countering the Burning Legion's assault on Azeroth. Velen states that only a Naaru born of Xe'ra is capable of unlocking the secrets contained within the artifact. This leaves O'ros as the only hope of unlocking this information, being the last of Xe'ra's line.

Despite the claim made by Velen, players are eventually able to interact with Xe'ra herself, "unlocking" Light's Heart when it comes into contact with the Tears of Elune.

Xe'ra later reveals that as her last act of service to the light, Light's Heart is to be used as a vessel for the rebirth of Illidan Stormrage.
