- The Lightless Reaches was originally called The Abyss in the beta.
- If a player swims near the bottom of the trench, eventually the Fatigue meter will appear. A few yards below this, there is an invisible barrier which instantly kills all players. The cause of death is given in the Combat Log as "Falling."
