If an engineer has an Electrostatic Condenser, they have a chance of obtaining 1-2 [ Volatile Air] from any Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Inlinegfx/img_link_data.json' not found. Cataclysm mining node; this is not included in the totals. The chance and yield seems to be roughly equal for any node type.
Patch 2.4 appears to have adjusted the possible additional items for Adamantite Deposit, Rich Adamantite Deposit, and Nethercite Deposit. The chance of getting an uncommon raw gem has been removed (or drastically lowered) and replaced with the chance to get a rare raw gem. Further research is needed.
Patch 3.0.8
Mining veins and deposits no longer require multiple hits to receive all the ore. Players will receive around the same amount of ore, stone, and gems they would have received from multiple hits.
Miners can also smelt to gain skill ups (multiple miners can skill up on the same ore node as long as the ore/gems/items are not removed; "tap" the node (click on it to begin harvesting))... giving the first player a chance to skill up... then have the additional players do the same. As long as no one loots the node, as many people as need be can gain 1 skill up attempt).
