Fault Lines is the first installment of the World of Warcraft: Legion comic mini-series.
Description[]
- It has been four years since the dwarf king Magni Bronzebeard was cursed as he sought to protect his world, frozen as a solid diamond statue at the center of Old Ironforge. In the new Legion digital comic, "Fault Lines," he emerges from his crystal slumber with a dire warning of dark times to come. But will his daughter, Moira, be able to set aside the pain of her past to forgive Magni and help unite her people?[1]
Story[]
Moira, upon the advice of Muradin and the dwarven priests, visits her father within Old Ironforge. After four years, this is the first time she has visited, and the hope is he will awaken upon hearing her voice. Awaken he does, but not because of her. In his communion with the world, he was shown a terrible vision of the Burning Legion invading.
He warns the Council of Three Hammers of the impending war, choosing to keep them in power while he serves Azeroth in warning the Alliance. Prior to his departure, he makes a reconciliation attempt with Moira, telling her that, not only is he proud of her, but that he has been watching her all her life.
