Maxim the Sly

is the Forsaken thief who murdered the courier hired by Edgar Goodwin to deliver a crate of arcane artifacts to him. Maxim stole the crate, and with the help of Dran Droffers set up a meeting with an interested buyer. When he arrived at the meeting grounds, Maxim was then slain by the buyer's messenger, Sanath Lim-yo, who intended to steal the crate himself to bring back to his master. Sanath disappears after unleashing the crate's magic on the players, surprised by the horror it unleashes.
