Mend Pet is a hunter ability learned at level 16. This is the primary method used to heal the hunter's pet, outside of other class abilities, racials, and first aid.

After a hunter's pet has died, the Mend Pet button will change into Revive Pet, so there's no reason to have them both on the action bar.
