Mesmerize is an ability of the warlock's shivarra, allowing her to mesmerize a target and render them unable to attack, cast, move, or use any other abilities. Any damage caused to the target will remove the effect.
If set to auto-cast, the shivarra will automatically use this on any target that uses stun, silence, or fear on the warlock. This gives the warlock the upper hand, for those effects typically do not last as long as thirty seconds, giving the warlock time to either escape, heal, or prepare a large damage attack.

Notes[]
Mesmerize is channeled, so the shivarra can't perform any other action while mesmerizing and can be interrupted. Unlike the succubus's [Seduction], this ability works on beasts, dragonkin, giants, mechanicals, and undead in addition to humanoids. It lasts thirty seconds barring diminishing returns or damage. Any damage inflicted on the target will break Mesmerize instantly.
Mesmerize on other players is controlled by the Diminishing Returns Rule, which means that you cannot seduce a player an unlimited number of times. Not only that, but Mesmerize and Fear are on the same Diminishing Returns Rule, preventing alternating use for long amounts of time.
