Mirkfallon Lake

Mirkfallon Lake

Mirkfallon Lake

[47, 40]

, high in the Stonetalon range, was once home to the tallest waterfall in Kalimdor. Aside from the breathtaking falls, one could also find the legendary hippogryphs, which migrate here from the cooler north.[1] (WRPG 210) It is host to a wide variety of creatures, including wyverns, slimes, and thunder lizards. The spiders of Stonetalon also lay their egg clusters here.

Fishing[]

Generation of fish nodes is quite frequent, example school of sagefish and pile of junk. Possible catch includes watertight trunk, raw sagefish and the usual common fish. Watertight trunk may contain large healing potion, medium leather and Weather-Beaten Journal.

The lake has been taken over by the Horde, who have constructed a Goblin-themed establishment with an oil platform and flight master. A nearby path over the hills joins Mirkfallon Lake with Windshear Crag. To the southwest of the Lake is an Alliance post, Mirkfallon Post, manned by Night Elf Rogues, complete with a flight path.[2]
